December 13, 2007- Political official in the U.S. Embassy to Sana'a has met the Defense Committee of Sheikh Mohammad al-Moayad and Zayed, promising to get popular demands delivered to the U.S. administration.
They reviewed, in their meeting, civil society organizations, parties' points of view towards the case of al-Moayad and Zayed.
For his part, the legal official in the Defense Committee, Khalid al-Anisi, said that the committee confirmed to the embassy that al-Moayad and Zayed's innocence.
On the other hand, Khawlan tribe's citizens gathered at al-Tyal district in solidarity with al-Moayad and Zayed in a rally arranged by the committee.
Khawlan's shrieks and figures demanded the president, the government and all human rights to put pressure on the U.S. administration in order to release al-Moayad and Zayed .
Khawlan's sheiks had issued a statement in which they demanded U.S appeal court to correct the unjust primary rulings and plead al-Moayad and Zayed innocent |
