The Yemeni Government has done it's best to free Al-Moayad and his aide ,Zayed .It authorized the Yemeni Ambassador in Washington to follow up the case, thereby, he could visit them in their cell.
Certainly, his visit had a good effect on Al-Moayad. As for the Yemeni president, he directed both the two advisors ,Esmail Al-wazir and Abdullah Ahmad Ghanim to travel to Germany and follow up the case.
During his visit to Germany in 2003, the president reiterated his call for Germany to extradite Al-Moayad and Zayed for Yemen particularly after FBI involvement with collaboration with the Yemeni agent in alluring Al-Moayad to travel to Germany .
However ,the German authorities rejected the president demand under the pretext of judiciary is independent of politics .
When Al-Moayad was turned over to US by Germans ,Yemeni Government authorized Allaw Foundation to follow up the case in US. For its part ,Allaw foundation dispatched the Yemeni lawyer Khalid Alanisi to US in order to defend Al-Moayad and Zayed .
Meanwhile ,the Yemeni Government paid all values for the defence. Up to-date it paid more than 350$ thousand and it's on hand to pay more for the sake of that just case .
